“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

John 13:14

Prayer Teams

Prayer teams are committed to regularly meeting to pray for the ministry and missionary needs.
Sensitive information may be shared with them so that they are “on the ground in the battle fighting for spiritual, emotional and physical needs of those the missionaries are working with or for the missionaries themselves.

There is usually one specific person who leads the group and maintains contact with the missionary weekly. All that is required is the willingness to bear the burden and take it to the throne while maintaining confidentiality about sensitive needs.

Barnabas Teams

A Barnabas Team is a committed team willing to serve one to four years to support a missionary in prayer, encouragement, practical assistance, and being an advocate for the missionary with the church community or communities. It may consist of a few or as many as 12 persons. Just as Barnabas (Joses) interpreted the son of consolation, a prominent Christian mentioned in Acts 4:35 who sold land and brought the money to the Apostles. It is a team that looks out for the welfare of the missionary spiritually, emotionally, and physically. A brother or sister that loves at all times. Is there for the joyous moments and there holding the missionary up during the struggles and challenges.
